iSolutions is providing Program Management to Safran Morpho in a project to supply and install an Automated Palm and Fingverprint Identification System (APFIS) to Kenya Police.

Working as the link between Safran Morpho and the Kenya Police, iSolutions is overseeing and managing the computerisation and conversion of existing paper based fingerprints, palm prints and latent prints, into an electronic form. This includes the preparation of a Central Site, the installation of APFIS workstations, training, record migration supervision and support and maintenance.

The conversion of existing paper-based records to an electronic system will allow Kenya Police to fight crime more effectively. The time and accuracy savings generated from the new APFIS will solve crimes quicker and help in the deployment of criminal investigation officers and experts to other critical areas.
